Cancer and Anti Inflammatory Agents in Prostate Cancer
Fundamentally, cancer is associated with chronic inflammation and disruption to normal immune function. As such, the ability to thrive in a chronically inflamed microenvironment is regarded as a hallmark of cancer. Therefore, targeting inflammation and/or correction of aberrant immunity has been a therapeutic aim.
We collated six real-life experiences of Professor Dalgleish where patients with prostate cancer were managed clinically by using unique combinations of drugs that specifically modified immunity.
